The total floor size of your mezzanine will be determined not just by the size of your warehouse, but also by safety considerations. Generally speaking, the bigger your mezzanine, the more likely it will need to meet fire regulations and the more likely it will need more than one access point. Smaller mezzanine floors don’t need to meet such standards. A floor of 10m x 10m in size or less which occupies less than 50% of the area of the building in which it is located, for example, won’t need a fire rating if it isn’t permanently occupied (that is, if you use it for storage rather than office space).
Why add a mezzanine to your Warrington warehouse?
