Across Doncaster, our pallet racking systems are available as new or used pallet racking.

WIDE AISLE PALLET RACKING

The most common form of storage pallet racking in Doncaster, utilising standard forklifts and maintaining single pallet selectivity (so you can access any pallet at any time). Widths typically vary between 2.8m and 3.5m, and allow for the use of a variety of standard forklift trucks (such as reach or counterbalance trucks).

Wide aisle pallet racking systems are available to suit virtually any pallet specification, making this an excellent starting point for any new facility.

NARROW AISLE PALLET RACKING IN DONCASTER

Narrow aisles (typically 1.4m – 1.6m) require a corresponding narrow forklift, but can dramatically increase storage density compared to standard wide aisle pallet racking.

We usually design and supply our narrow aisle warehouse pallet racking systems with underground wire guidance systems or angled guiderails to help forklift drivers and protect products and pallets.

DRIVE-IN PALLET RACKING IN DONCASTER

Simple, high density pallet storage capacity without block-stacking. This is a 'first in – last out' basis (FI-LO) pallet racking system, so it’s not ideal when you need quick access to a variety of palletised products, because you need to clear pallets from the front to access those at the rear. It is, however, ideal when you require lots of storage of similar products.

PALLET LIVE STORAGE

Addressing the issues of drive-in pallet racking without compromising on storage capacity, pallet live storage uses roller lanes and gravity to take pallets from loading face to off-loading face, in a 'first in – first out' (FI-FO) scenario that ensures good stock rotation. Can be accessed using most types of forklift truck.

This industrial pallet racking system is suited to operations where space is tight but products need frequent rotation.

PUSH-BACK PALLET RACKING IN DONCASTER

As long as you don’t go more than 4 pallets deep, this is a good way of getting high density storage without block stacking pallets. This pallet racking and shelving solution ('first in – last out', or FI-LO) is ideal for operations with limited space, and where you store products of several different types that require relatively easy access (eg in a freezer store).

CARPET RACKING

We take a new or used pallet racking system and customise it with spacers and a full length chipboard base to enable it to safely store carpet rolls, free from snags and pulls.

This form of storage pallet racking is ideally suited to counterbalance forklifts with a boom attachment. Drivers can ‘joust' the centre of carpet rolls to enable safe pick-up.

DOUBLE-DEEP PALLET RACKING

A warehouse pallet racking system with good storage capacity. Like wide aisle pallet racking, except that pallets are stored two deep and accessed by specialist forklift trucks with telescopic forks that can reach the rear pallet location. As front pallets need removing to gain access to the rear, this is not the ideal pallet racking solution when you need single pallet selectivity.

COIL RACKING

Standard pallet racking is sufficient for coils stored face down or 'eye to the sky'. The advantage of storing coils side-on in a coil cradle (in addition to being able to ‘joust’ coils using forklifts with boom attachments) is that each coil is oriented for easy application in industrial machinery.

HEAVY DUTY PALLET RACKING

The difference between Doncaster pallet racking companies that supply and pallet racking companies that design, manufacture and install, is that only with the latter can your racking be tailored to your specific requirements. That’s particularly important for heavy duty pallet racking, where bay loadings may need to support 20,000kgs plus or loads per level in excess of 4,000kgs (depending on overall level dimensions).

Heavy duty pallet racking systems typically require high capacity counterbalance forklifts.

RADIO SHUTTLE RACKING

Programmed shuttle devices run beneath pallet lanes, bringing pallets to the front of the pick face or to the rear of the pallet racking system as required. This 'first in - first out' (FI-FO) or 'first in - last out' (FI-LO) stock rotation flexibility is ideal for high throughputs, where you can respond to increases in pallet traffic simply by adding more shuttles.
